NTP Lampung Province of January 2017 for each subsector recorded Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) (112.45), Horticulture (NTP-H) (94.73); (NTP-P) (115.54), Capture Fisheries (109.40), and Aquaculture (93.74). While NTP Lampung Province was recorded at 105.98.
In January 2017, several commodities experienced a decrease in prices, including horticulture, estate crops, catch fisheries, and aquaculture fisheries such as vegetables, fruits, coconut, coffee, cocoa and certain types of fish catch and cultivation. While the subsector of food crops and livestock farming experienced price increases among others in grain, cassava, buffalo, goat, and broiler.
Most of the sub-sectors experienced a decline in NTP in January 2017, except for food crops and livestock. In detail, food crops sub-sector (0.06 percent), horticultural crops sub-sector (-0.39 percent), smallholder plantation sub-sector (-4.13 percent), livestock sub-sector (0.36 percent), fisheries sub- -1.11 percent), and aquaculture subsector (-0.99 percent). NTP Lampung Province combined by decreased by 1.28 percent.
Of the 33 provinces observed in January 2017, the highest increase in NTP occurred in Aceh province with an increase of 0.89 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung Province which decreased by 2.46 percent.
January 2017 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced inflation of 1.58 percent caused by the increase of food price index by 3.16 percent, food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.77 percent, housing category by 0 , 36 percent, clothing group by 0.54 percent, and health group by 0.48 percent. Meanwhile, the price index of educational, recreational, and sports groups and transport and communication groups decreased.
